Bandarban:A Slice Of Paradise Unveiled

My unforgettable trip Bandarban, a hidden gem among the lush hills of Bangladesh, is always on my list of must visit places. My journey began with a scenic drive through winding roads, as I marveled at the sweeping views of hills covered with thick green foliage. At my first day of this journey,I visited the Nilgiri Hills which mesmerized me with it’s breathtaking views. Another highlight of my Bandarban adventure was the Chimbuk Hills. I spent hours admiring the beauty of the landscape and feeling a sense of serenity I had never felt before.Lush valleys and distant hills stretch as far as the eye can see, reminding me of the unspoiled natural beauty that Bandarban has to offer. Nafakhum Waterfall is the perfect combination of adventure and tranquility. The trip to the waterfall is an enjoyable hike through dense forests, and the sight of water flowing between the rocks is a well-deserved reward. No trip to Bandarban is complete without a visit to the Golden Temple. This beautiful Buddhist temple, adorned with golden hues, spread a sense of serenity and spirituality that left an indelible impression on me.My trip to Bandarban also gave me the chance to fully experience the native way of life, especially at Ruma Bazaar. The crowded market displayed a variety of ethnic goods, customary attire, and delicious spices. Meeting with the locals and discovering their way of life was a rewarding experience that gave my journey more dimension.

Cox’s Bazaar: Where The Sky Meets The Sea

During the last autumn I got a vacation. Our college was closed for one week. Then I made a plan with my family. We decided to go to Cox’s Bazaar. We reached at Cox’s Bazar in the afternoon and rented three rooms in a hotel near the sea beach.I had never gone to Cox’s Bazaar before. So I had a curiosity to see the sea. In the next morning we went for a walk at the Sugandha point's sea beach . It was amazing. After seeing the scenery of the sea beach I became speechless. We took bath there and played beside the sea beach. There we ride on the horse. We took many pictures of the nature. We bought many things and collected many stones, shells etc.We visited the Himchari. It is about 32 km south of Cox's Bazar along the beach, a nice place for a picnic and photo-shooting. The famous "Broken Hills" and waterfalls here are rare sights.we enjoyed a lot there. Then we went to the Inani Beach. Inani casts a magic spell on those who step into that dreamland. It is only half an hour's drive from Cox's Bazar and an ideal place for sea-bathing and a picnic. We also enjoy the beautiful sight of Marine drive. The next day we go to the Maheskhali. In the hills on the coast is built the shrine of Adinath, dedicated to Shiva. By its side on the same hill is a Buddhist Pagoda. We also visited Ramu. There are monasteries, khyangs and pagodas containing images of Buddha in gold, bronze and other metals inlaid with precious stones. The village has a charm of its own.I really loved the food of that I have ate in the local hotels and I am a big lover of Shutki Vorta.

The Sundarbans:A Wilderness Like No Other

I visited Sundarban in 2021  with my family and it was an unforgettable journey for me.I had the incredible opportunity to explore this unique mangrove ecosystem, and every moment was a testimony to the raw beauty and untamed wilderness that the Sundarbans encapsulates.First day,I visited the beautiful Jamtala Beach and there was a watch tower.I mesmerized the beauty of the greenery forests from the tower and saw many deers are roaming and eating leafs, monkeys was jumping from one tree to another. If you are lucky, you can see tigers from the tower though I missed the luck to see the tiger but I saw their footprints on the wet mud of the forest.I also visited Dubey Char where the river flows through the char into the Bay of Bengal. At the 2nd day,I went to the Harbaria Point and as our boat gently glided through the narrow waterways, the dense mangrove forests came to life with a chorus of birdsong and the occasional splash of leaping fish.At the afternoon,we moved to the Katka Beach by our boat and  witnessed the sunset like no other. The sky transformed into a canvas of fiery oranges and purples, mirrored by the tranquil water below.Amidst the wilderness, I had the chance to visit some of the local villages that call the Sundarbans home. Their lives were intricately linked to the ebb and flow of the tides, as fishing and honey collection were their primary sources of sustenance. The warm hospitality of the villagers left a lasting impression, reminding me of the deep connection humans share with nature.

My travels through Bangladesh have been a tapestry of vivid experiences, each destination offering a unique chapter in this enchanting journey. This is just a glimpse of the wonders that await in this diverse and captivating country. As I continue my explorations, I eagerly anticipate the new adventures that Bangladesh has yet to reveal.

  1. The scenic beauty of Bangladesh is breathtaking. It was great to read about your experiences. But I'll definitely suggest you to visit Saint Martin someday. I had my best time touring there. Also it was the first time I saw meteors (shooting stars) in the night sky.
